On March 11, 2024, SIA Riga Films, in collaboration with the Riga Art and Media Technical School, will organize the only exhibition in the Baltics dedicated to film and television professionals, "Riga Pro Expo 2024". It is a pre-season filming event where all the major film equipment rental companies, manufacturers, and distributors will meet.

The target audience of the exhibition are professionals involved in the creation of films and other audio-visual content: filmmakers for the big screen, television series, shows, and program creators, providers of live broadcasts for sports and other mass events, production companies, directors, cinematographers, and television representatives. This year, the participants will also include internet live broadcast providers, who are occupying an increasingly large market share in the creation of audio-visual content. Each participant will have the opportunity to showcase themselves and observe others. Currently, companies from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia have also shown interest in participating in the exhibition.

It should be mentioned that this is not the first event of its kind organized by SIA Riga Films. The first similar exhibition took place in 2016, in collaboration with “Kompānija NA”. The exhibition received a wide response. Industry professionals positively evaluated this initiative, as nothing of this sort had happened before. Therefore, we have decided to develop this event as an annual occurrence, to which we could invite an increasing number of participants from other European countries in the future.
